Canadian tax information

CLEAR FEES / CLEAR CHECKOUT

Know what is collected—and why.

Thread Revival follows the familiar Canadian marketplace model: buyer sales tax, shipping, marketplace fees and seller proceeds stay separate and visible. Registration, listing and INSPIRE are open now; paid checkout remains paused until production payment and shipping requirements are verified.

Buyer tax at checkout

Applicable GST/HST and provincial sales tax are calculated from the buyer's delivery province and shown before payment is confirmed.

Seller fee tax

GST/HST on Thread Revival's marketplace fee is calculated separately from the item sale using the seller's province and deducted from seller earnings.

INSPIRE stays $0

A free INSPIRE item has a $0 taxable item price and no Thread Revival commission. A paid shipping service may still include applicable GST/HST.
